Found a house!

We have finally found a house - yay! It is in Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains. But we won't be in there til 1st week of August so I will be a bit behind in my orders (sorry). Its a very gorgeous, quirky house - very bohemian - and will take some photos and post into flickr.com account when we get settled!

At last the pressure is off, as finding a house is so traumatic. There is such a shortage here in Sydney which I was surprised that it extended out to the Mountains.

I have found lots of VERY funky fabric so I can't wait to get my hands into it all.

In Sydney!

We have arrived in Sydney late Tuesday night and been up to the mountains to look for a house... it looks like it will take a bit longer than we thought so will make a couple of trips to Leura and Katoomba to find somewhere.

Nelly (the dog) is settling in nicely into Mums place in Annandale. Lots of gourmet cafes and treats!

Its so cold here...

On our way...

This is it as the internet is switched off here in the morning!

Will write again soon when we are all set up down south!

Last day!

Today is my last day at work - the house is pretty much packed except for 2 bowls, 2 cups, etc. Our bedroom is now the living room while carpets are cleaned and Nelly the dog has decided she will be sleeping with us!

We are pretty excited now - I'm waking up at 5am and ready to go! It's nice to think we will be near our family again. Its been 7 years for me and time to go home. What were we thinking about with Wellington?!

Its 6am and freezing outside! I managed to get today off work (its my last week at work at ) so will be scrubbing and cleaning for the move on Saturday.
Don't know why I'm up so early, should be in bed til 9am but it always happens this way!

This is a pic of the gorgeous train carriage we stayed at last week at Eumundi. My 'Sweet 'n' Sour' tote was flung on the bench, and it looks so cute I had to share it. Right era and all!

Last Saturday night we had a farewell get together with all the lovely friends we've made in Brisbane. As usual, just as I finally stopped working in the kitchen guests are starting to go (always the way! Definately order in pizzas next time!).

Here I am at the Spirit House Cooking School at Yandina on the Sunshine Coast. This was a lovely treat for the See-Saw end of financial year party. I have never done a cooking school before, and wow, the preparation in some of the thai/indian dishes we prepared! Here I am stirring the duck vindaloo sauce. Vindaloo is not traditionally meant to be extremely hot. Anyway, it was delicious!

I have just finished the last order - and will begin again fresh from the Blue Mountains 1st August. The bags look fantastic and its strange to see everything packed away...

Tonight we are having a low-key farewell with our Brissy friends. I might take some photos (if I don't drink too much!).

So, if you are interested in any bags, please email your enquiry as I can begin straight away from August!

I have the last 2 bags as part of Lulu's order. THEN - it all gets packed away til we arrive at our beautiful mountain destination! Here is 2 of Lulu's lovely "Glory Bee" bags.

I had a last minute order too, from Olivia in Hornsby, for a Marlene Clutch. I couldn't refuse as a girls gotta have her bag! Here tis!

I love to see each bag come to life, each has its own quirks and feel with none alike (even when I want them to be!).
