Old stomping ground

I have been featured in the July edition of Australian Readers Digest in an environmental article! Quite a while ago I used to work for them (maybe 5 years ago?). No, this was totally unrelated as I don't have any contacts in the magazine department.

Quite an honour...

All the recycling you can carry...great title and good photos too for a small magazine or whatever you call that size...booklet? Have not seen a copy for about 20 yearS, My mother used to religously get me subscriptions every Christmas as she thought I loved it .....only read it at their place when visiting because it was the only thing apart from Woman's Day etc to read in their house!

Good luck with the carnival this weekend!

Wow, nice work! I remember when mum would always buy the readers digests - and I would pretty much just read the Mere Male section....which in retrospect is a pretty sexist column really - I wonder if they still have it, or if it's now called 'Mere Partner'? Doesn't have the same ring to it does it. Aaaahhhh, good ol' MMs...

Congrats!! It might be a small book, but isnt it great you have been recognised by them, I know a few people who read them regulary, and yes my mum always had them too! Hope all went well yesterday, I planned to come up to meet you, but I was just too busy! The weather was perfect, my daughter went up, and said there was a good turnout.
